✨ What an inspiring evening at the 2025 AgriFutures Australia Rural Women’s Award National Gala…with Tanya Egerton the National 2024 winner as MC and the Moorambilla Voice Choir who were stunning with the Acknowledgement to Country. ✨
It was a privilege to be in the room with so many extraordinary women driving innovation, resilience and community impact across rural and remote Australia. Having family by my side and in my heart, along with the unwavering support of my NT Rural Women’s Award Alumni community (Donna Digby , Eileen Breen Rebecca Forrest Nicole Walsh Rashida Khan MAICD ) made the night especially meaningful.
A heartfelt congratulations to Isabella Thrupp (National Runner-Up) and Carol Mudford (National Winner). Your accomplishments are testament to the leadership and ingenuity of rural women, and I’m excited to see your projects continue to create change on a national scale.
This experience has further ignited my commitment to continue reaching into remote communities and supporting women’s wellbeing through connection, education and holistic health care. The need is great—but so is the opportunity.
To my fellow 2025 SCMINKK cohort – here’s to the sisterhood that uplifts, challenges and inspires. We are stronger together, and our collective ripple is becoming a wave of lasting impact.
Big shout out to Mim Cole and Tatiana Hoffmann for creating my beautiful “Healing Connection” dress…there was lots of interest as to ‘who you were’!! ✨💜
As the RWA Alumni for 2025…I will now be a NT judge for the next round of applicants and NT Finalists for the Rural Women’s Award in 2026. I look forward to going back to Canberra next year to support the NT Finalist and reconnecting with my RWA Alumni.
