I made these tasty Bliss Balls for Australia Day this year…& again for my first Wise Women Circle! Play around with the ingredients for what’s in your cupboard & what you actually like.
Ingredients:
- 1C dates (soaked in water)
- 1.5C cooked & cooled quinoa
- 4Tblsp macadamia meal (or LSA)
- 3Tblsp raw Cacao powder
- 4Tblsp Maple syrup
- 1/2C kefir (optional)
- 1tsp ground cinnamon/cinnamon myrtle
- 2Tblsp Nut butter
- 1tsp lemon myrtle powder
- 2Tblsp chia seeds
- 1Tblsp ground wattleseed
- pinch sink salt
- pinch anise myrtle powder (optional)
- 1Tblso macadamia oil
- Shredded coconut or crushed nuts for coating
Method:
- Blitz dates in food processor.
- Put dates into large bowl with all ingredients except shredded coconut/nuts, & mix all together thoroughly.
- Use wet hands to roll mixture into ‘Lindt ball’ size, then roll in coconut/nuts to coat.
- Store in airtight container in the fridge for 2 weeks…or you can place into ziplock bag & keep in the freezer for up to 3mths.
- This makes about 25 balls.
