I made these tasty Bliss Balls for Australia Day this year…& again for my first Wise Women Circle! Play around with the ingredients for what’s in your cupboard & what you actually like.

Ingredients:

  • 1C dates (soaked in water)
  • 1.5C cooked & cooled quinoa
  • 4Tblsp macadamia meal (or LSA)
  • 3Tblsp raw Cacao powder
  • 4Tblsp Maple syrup
  • 1/2C kefir (optional)
  • 1tsp ground cinnamon/cinnamon myrtle
  • 2Tblsp Nut butter
  • 1tsp lemon myrtle powder
  • 2Tblsp chia seeds
  • 1Tblsp ground wattleseed
  • pinch sink salt
  • pinch anise myrtle powder (optional)
  • 1Tblso macadamia oil
  • Shredded coconut or crushed nuts for coating

Method:

  • Blitz dates in food processor.
  • Put dates into large bowl with all ingredients except shredded coconut/nuts, & mix all together thoroughly.
  • Use wet hands to roll mixture into ‘Lindt ball’ size, then roll in coconut/nuts to coat.
  • Store in airtight container in the fridge for 2 weeks…or you can place into ziplock bag & keep in the freezer for up to 3mths.
  • This makes about 25 balls.
