Bircher Muesli….gluten free!

Try this breakie alternative….mix it up with different fruits….make it dairy free with soy or nut milk alternatives if desired.

 It’s also detoxifying….your body will love it!!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rice flakes
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup grated apple
  • 1 tablespoon natural yoghurt
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 cup chopped mixed berries & sultanas
  • 1 dessert-spoon flaked almonds & sunflower seeds, extra to top.

Method:

  • Soak rice flakes, chia seeds, sunflower seeds & nuts in apple juice. Leave in fridge overnight.
  • Just before serving mix through yoghurt, fresh fruit & lemon juice.
  • Top with extra nuts, honey & cinnamon.
