So….whilst on my detox I tried a couple of new recipes to mix it up a little – gotta be tasty for me as I lurve food!!

In saucepan simmer for 20mins 750g sweet potatoes (peeled & chopped as lagre chunks) with 2 cups water/stock, plus 1tsp ground coriander, 1tsp turmeric powder or 2cm fresh root grated, 1/2tsp raw sugar &1-2 chillies chopped, with some cracked pepper to activate the turmeric.

Allow mixture to cool, then puree in blender or food processor, with 2Tbsp lime juice. Reheat to serve.

Simple but YUM!

This was adapted from my Reader’s Digest – Kitchen Garden Cookbook….thanks Nan & Grandpa! X
