Thyme is a lovely herb to have in your home. Grow it in your herb garden….or you can even use the dried leaf form found in the supermarkets – organic is better if possible to avoid unwanted pesticides.

It’s a great antibacterial, antifungal & expectorant & antispasmodic – making it perfect for that annoying cough or common cold, shifting catarrh & phlegm. You can simply make your own infusion by adding a couple of teaspoons of dried leaves to a cup of just boiled water & let it steep for 10mins before drinking.

Sip 3-4 times a day for a cough or cold, or use the cooled version as a gargle for tonsillitis or laryngitis. Add a dash of Manuka honey that has had garlic steeping in it for that extra antimicrobial hit!!!

Does anyone have the Thyme????

Isn’t it time you had some Thyme in your kitchen?!
